About NOAJ

Nepal Orthopaedic Association Journal (NOAJ) is a biannual journal, an official publication of Nepal Orthopaedic Association. NOAJ is a scientific bio-medical journal devoted to Clinical orthopaedic which has the objective of providing opportunities for free exchange of ideas and information on health, health care system and medical education related with orthopaedics and trauma. All efforts are being made to make NOAJ into a standard journal and a forum from which the researches conducted in various disciplines in Clinical orthopaedic, the reviews done, novel and unique cases which we encounter during our professional career can be made available to our readers. We strictly follow the guideline “Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals: Writing and Editing for Biomedical Publication” established by International Committee of Medical Journal Editors.

Focus and Scope

The journal publishes articles related to researches done in the field of biomedical sciences related to orthopaedics and trauma. The Journal would publish peer-reviewed original research papers, case reports, systematic reviews and meta-analysis. Editorial, Guest Editorial, brief communications, tips & techniques and letter to the editor are solicited by the editorial board.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

The aim of NOAJ is to increase the visibility and ease of use of open access scientific and scholarly articles thereby promoting their increased usage and impact. Hence, NOAJ grants permission to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles which is available online (http://noaj.org.np) freely.

Authors do not have to pay for submission, processing or publication of articles at NOAJ.
